I recently had the pleasure of dining at Vinny's Ristorante in the picturesque San Juan Islands, and it was nothing short of a culinary delight. A shiny spot in a rainy day at the Harbor. The place was pretty busy so I would recommend a reservation. The wait for seating and food was definitely worth it. The seafood pasta was hands-down one of the best pastas I've ever had, even in Italy! The Oyster Rockefeller was great as well and the scampi was good. Would recommend especially towards the night when most of the island is closed.

Loved everything we ate here! The veggie lasagna was amazing, but the pasta from hell stole our hearts. It’s on the spicy side, but the unsual taste of turmeric in an Italian dish drew me mouth after mouth to the pasta. The pasta from hell actually felt like it was from heaven The service was excellent as well! The best restaurant in all of San Juan islands.

Based on a recommendation from a local, we made a reservation on a Tuesday evening at 6:15. We called and they called us back to verify. We really enjoyed Vinny‘s. The hostess was super sweet and our service from Jesus was wonderful. The calamari was superior and the lasagna was very tasty. We might caution you - if you arrive late - some of their specialties may be gone as we got the last two servings of lasagna and the restaurant I believe was open for a few more hours. Get there early if you want the yummy food!!

Everything we ate was delicious! The staff were also very kind and attentive. This restaurant is very clean and has a wide selection of wines. We were given fresh bread to start, with olive oil and vinegar already at the table. I would definitely come back for special occasions. I will say it doesn’t have much of a view of the water from inside, if that’s important to you.

My husband and I were delighted when the staff greeted us with a smile then went above and beyond to squeeze us in without a reservation just before the dinner rush. We were seated near the window with a lovely view of the water. Our dinner and the service we received was wonderful. I highly recommend this Italian island treasure. Thank you Vinny’s for a lovely end to our evening.

I always find it difficult to find good vegetarian food in restaurants and surprisingly had an amazing pasta here! Ordered the Pasta from Hell and it was just amazing. Raspberry lemonade was very refreshing and the chocolate lava cake was delicious. Very nice service and ambiance. Will definitely visit this place again for the pasta!

Vinnies is a gem in Friday harbor! Amazing food, truly the best place on the island. Julie and her staff make feel right at home. Everything on the menu is delicious! You will not be disappointed. When you’re on the island stop in. I guarantee Vinnies will be your new favorite place. And I personally recommend the bananas foster if you’re looking for a treat.
